I first became a CTRS when I graduated with my BPS degree in Recreation, Sports and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from SUNY Brockport in 1981. I completed my MS degree in Recreation, Sports and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation in 2007. I have worked in psychiatric, geriatric, developmentally challenged and drug addiction settings as a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) for over 35 years.
