PeoplesCare Inc. is seeking a Recreational Therapist Consultant for clients with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
1) Registered Recreational Therapist in the state of California
2) At least 1 year experience working with clients with developmental disabilities.
3) Must meet all requirements set forth in Title 17 Regulations, section 54344.
Duties:
1) Give group therapy sessions to assess client’s recreational needs and produce recreational plans.
2) Give staff in-service training
3) Update recreational assessment on a regular basis
4) Maintain a log of consultation hours
Current Needs:
We require 20 hours per month of consultation for 8 clients, however, PeoplesCare has many residential facilities all over LA County and if more hours are desired, you will be referred the District Managers to discuss further consultation.
